Sponsorship:
We had a lot of great conversations regarding sponsorships this past week and we are excited to announce that Gainsight will be partnering with us on the breakfast. We talked about how existing relationships have been helpful for sponsorship discussions. We also shared some thoughts about including pricing in our actual sponsorship deck.
Multi-Channel Community Building:
We have been intentionally communicating with registrations through a weekly email. This week, we introduced a WhatsApp group and a Slack channel as well. The philosophy is that consistent pre-event communication keeps people aware and connected to the conference, and that they know they can ask us questions if they want too!
Maximizing Value (Advice to Attendees):
In response to someone asking how to get the most out of CLG, we offered practical advice:
Set goals beforehand
Engage in pre-event channels like Slack and WhatsApp
Stand out visually by wearing distinctive clothing like David’s funky pants
Bring something to offer others like an upcoming event or a resource
Follow up strategically: send a quick note within 1-2 days, then a deeper follow-up 7-10 days later when things calm down
